Our Company

Silver Scenes was established in 1984 in the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside in the County of Montgomeryshire by Edward and Maureen Story Jones.  It was the outstanding quality of Maureen’s design work coupled with Edward’s considerable business acumen that resulted in the superb range of products that the Company produced becoming one of the most established brands in the British giftware market.  Over the years that success has also been repeated in many overseas markets.

In more recent years Maureen and Edward have gradually retired from the scene (or should we say scenes?) and the continuation of the Company has been taken on by Phil Wilson and Bill Whitty.  With over thirty years of service for the Company between them and with the help of several local designers, Phil and Bill aim to continue to provide the same level of quality and service that have become synonymous with the Silver Scenes name over the last twenty-three years.  They are not alone with the Company’s longest-serving member of staff, Jean Lea, having just completed twenty years of service!
